We run Tai Chi classes on every Monday, Tuesday and Friday before the Luncheon Club. Tai Chi, also called tai chi chuan (太極拳), is accessible to all ages and physical abilities and can be practised on many levels.
Started over 10 years ago, the Tai Chi classes remain a popular activity among our members today. Led by Ms. Sau Chun Wong, volunteer instructor, you will practice the Tai Chi 18 Forms combining deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. These sessions are well suited to older adults and people with minor mobility problems. The Tai Chi 24 Forms, which consists of more complex, vigorous movements, are for advanced learners only.
